G. Brendon Edwards
Residential Sales Specialist, REALTOR®
Brendon grew up in a suburb of Chicago, in a house designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. This gave him an early appreciation of architecture and historical homes. As the son of an artist and executive recruiter, Brendon recognized the balance of business and art. He tries to incorporate it in his own life today.
He has a B.A. in General Studio Arts and pursued further artistic training and a career in the arts. This path eventually led him to New England to apprentice with a sculptor and glass artist in Providence. Brendon came to Somerville in 1998 to teach glassblowing part-time at MIT and has remained there ever since.
Transitioning to real estate was a welcome opportunity for Brendon. He uses his teaching and coaching skills to help others through the challenges that arise when buying and selling homes.
Brendon knows the challenges of buying and selling homes first hand. He and his wife bought a condo in Union Square in 2006. Like many other couples, they outgrew the space once their second child began walking. He understands and empathizes with the process most parents go through when they contemplate a move. The stress of sizing up communities, weighing the pros and cons of urban vs. suburban life and trying to find a compromise that will work for the entire family is overwhelming.
It was then Brendon decided to join Thalia – his own personal agent – and her team. As an agent at Thalia Tringo & Associates Real Estate, Brendon works collaboratively with his buyer and seller clients to make their transactions as smooth as possible.
Feel free to get in touch with him to discuss your needs and goals.
